Why nothing is verified
Normally a request like this is confirmed by email before it is acted on. This domain cannot send email yet, so that confirmation is not available — and holding your request until it is would be worse than acting on it.
So the form acts immediately and without checking who is asking. The worst a wrongful request can do is stop one address receiving one future announcement, which is a smaller harm than refusing a real person their own deletion. If your address disappears and you did not ask, add it again.
toreel holds no Instagram data for anybody but its operator, because it is not open to anybody else yet. If that changes and you have connected an account, you can cut the connection from Instagram's own side at any moment — Settings, then Apps and websites, then remove toreel. The access token stops working immediately and nothing further can be read or posted.
