This describes what is true today, on a site whose product is not open yet. When that changes, this page changes first — not afterwards.

What this website collects

Two things, and the second is not personal data at all.

An email address, if you type one into the early-access form. It is stored by Cloudflare, in the United Kingdom and the EU, and it is used once: to tell you the day toreel opens. It is not sold, not shared, not added to a newsletter, and there is no second email. You can have it deleted at any time, immediately, using the form on this site.

A daily tally of page views. One number per page per day — literally a counter that says how many times /pricing/ was opened on a given date. No address, no cookie, no identifier, nothing that could be traced to a person or a session. It exists to tell whether anybody is reading.

What it does not collect

No analytics cookies, and no analytics service. There is no Google Analytics here.
No advertising pixels. Nothing from Meta, TikTok or anyone else is loaded.
No profiles, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

The only cookie this project sets anywhere is a sign-in cookie on app.toreel.org, which exists so that a password gate does not ask for the password on every page. It identifies a session, not a person, and it is not used to measure anything.

The application, which is not open

toreel itself runs on its operator's own hardware, for one person, while the rest is built. It holds no accounts for anybody else and processes nobody else's material.

When it opens to other people it will process what they put into it: the subject typed in, the footage uploaded, the Instagram account connected, and the statistics Instagram returns for that account's own posts. It will also pass text and images to the services that make them — OpenAI, Google, HeyGen — and to Instagram to publish. Those are the places your material goes, and they are named here so that is not a surprise.

None of that is happening yet, and this page will be rewritten before it starts. A policy describing a service that does not exist is not a policy; it is a promise, and promises do not belong here.

How long things are kept

An email address on the early-access list stays until toreel opens and you have been told, or until you ask for it to go — whichever comes first. The page counters are kept indefinitely because they contain nothing about anyone.

Your rights, and the honest part about contacting us

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to it being held at all. For the email address — the only personal data here — the fastest route is the deletion form, which acts immediately and needs no reply from anyone.

This domain cannot receive email yet. Its DNS carries no mail records, so anything sent to an address at toreel.org would bounce. Rather than print an address that does not work, the routes that do are: the form above, and post to NAOS MULTIMEDIA STUDIO LTD, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF, England. When mail is set up, this paragraph will say so.

If you are in the UK and unhappy with how this was handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Where the data sits

The early-access list is held by Cloudflare on its UK and EU infrastructure. The application runs on hardware in Spain. No data is sold or transferred to anyone for their own purposes.
